Steven Passfield

Steven is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who provides a calming presence to aid individuals understand and resolve their struggles within a relaxed environment. Steven emphasises the individuality of each client to ensure that they are seen as more than a diagnosis and receive an intervention tailored to their needs. Steven is passionate about ensuring client’s feel comfortable in the therapeutic space and are involved in developing and modifying their treatment plans.

Steven has had experience working with variety of clinical presentations, including anxiety, depression, stress, ADHD, alcohol and substance use disorders, amongst others. He has a particular interest in working with individuals with anxiety disorders and alcohol and other substance use disorders. Steven has also worked with individuals to understand and assist with relationship struggles and an individual’s sexual and gender identity.
Steven utilises an array of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

Steven’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and Master of Clinical Psychology.
