Mitch Doyle

Mitch is a friendly psychologist who has a diverse history of working with clients in private practice, government, and not-for-profit environments. Possessing a compassionate warmth and sense of humour, Mitch approaches his work with acknowledging the importance of being dynamic and adaptable to the needs of each person.

Mitch has experience working with individuals navigating a range of concerns including grief and loss, anxiety, depression, OCD, body image difficulties and disordered eating. Mitch is an LGBTQ+ affirming practitioner and works with clients exploring sexual identity difficulties in a non-judgemental way.

Mitch has experience working with couples navigating infidelity, communication breakdowns, parenting adjustments, and complex relational dynamics. He has undergone training in Emotion Focussed Therapy, a widely used evidence-based model for working with couples to navigate challenges and develop a rich understanding of emotional dynamics that foster connection.

Mitch’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Professional Psychology. He has training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR) and Emotion Focussed Therapy (EFT). Mitch is also informed by principles of Narrative Therapy and Psychodynamic theory.
